ROYCE FLIPPIN & PHS LITTLE TIGERS WIN MERCER CROSS COUNTRY CROWNS

On November 12, 1974 at Washington Crossing NJ, Royce Flippin of Princeton High won the first of his back to back individual Mercer cross country titles.

In the team standings, Princeton High Coach Larry Ivan's squad scored 61 points for first place to edge out runners-up Steinert who tallied 65. and third place Trenton who were just 1 point behind.
As reported the next day....


The top three individual finishers were Flippin, followed by Rick Schuder of Hightstown, and Mike Lenk of Steinert was 3rd.
