Trenton Central High School -- High Jump

Felix Davis is the only athlete in Mercer County history to jump 7 feet while still in high school. He accomplished that feat in 1984 as a senior at Trenton High.
Davis won the Penn Relays High Jump Championship as a senior in 1984. He was indoor state Group IV champion in the HJ in 1983 as well as outdoor county champion that same year.

In winter county competition, Davis won a three-peat when he took HJ gold in the Mercer Indoor Championships from 1982 to '84. He was also twice the outdoor CJ Sectional HJ champion--in 1982 and 1984.

Davis's scoring in championship meets helped lead Trenton's team to a State Group IV Championship in the 1984 indoor season, 2 consecutive outdoor CJ Sectional team titles in 1983 and '84, and 4 county team titles as Trenton's boys swept both indoor and outdoor county meets in '83 and '84.
Davis's all-time county record 7'0" jump came at the Plainfield Invite in spring of '84.
