ATHLETES

He/she must have attended and graduated from a High School in Mercer County, New Jersey. Their graduation year is no less than 10 years from their year of nomination. Nominees must have a resume that includes exemplary status achieved in athletic competition, awards, championships won, and honors bestowed on them. Accomplishments, post-graduation, including collegiate and amateur level, will be taken into consideration as well. 

 

COACHES

He/she must have coached at a Mercer County High School. They must have demonstrated character, citizenship and leadership throughout their career. Their individual and team’s success at the local, county, and state level will, likewise, be taken into consideration. 

TEAMS
The team must have numerous accomplishments, including awards, and/or championships no less than 10 years from their year of nomination. 

OFFICIALS/SPECIAL CONTRIBUTORS
He/she must have made distinctive contributions, worthy of recognition, to the track and field programs in Mercer County. They must have demonstrated character, citizenship and leadership throughout their careers.

WAITING PERIOD EXCEPTION
The waiting period before a candidate is eligible may be waived for extenuating circumstances. A waiver of the waiting period must be approved by a majority vote of the Executive Committee.
